So who has been offered a place for studying Actuarial Studies?
I got in, first preference.

Are you all going to follow the recomended program or going to alter it?

It's prolly best to follow the recommended program, or you can get totally whipped later on with really crappy timetabling for exams.

I am doing app finance/act st (YaY!!!). But what do you mean by the reccomended program? Don't all first years take the same subjects???

from memory every1 does the same except law and comp ppl

Alright cools.

Just looking at the timetable, under the Activity column, it states for some of the units lecture 1, lecture 2 and so on.

Do we have to attend these or do you choose one with the better time slot for yourself?

I think we attend all of these different lectures. But we can choose which tutorial to attend when there's more than one time for the same one (not 100% sure though).
