Oh sorry, I interpreted that as "Chelsea will win 6-2 at Stamford Bridge". Clearly Barca are favourites, and Chelsea's best hope is to play defensive and be very tight, hoping to snag a goal and/or frustrate Barca.
Barca are slight favourites, only because they're the best footballing team in the world atm.

But if you know about the so called "curse of Real Madrid" then you'd think the statistics are with Chelsea. Since the current format of the Champions League has been introduced in 2003, the team that beats the one that knocks out Madrid goes on to win the European Cup.

2003 Milan beat Juve who knocked out Madrid in the semi-final.
2004 Porto beat Monaco in the final who beat Madrid in the quarter-final.
2005 Liverpool beat Milan who knocked out Madrid.
2006 Barca beat Arsenal who beat Madrid.
2007 Milan knocked out Bayern Munich who beat Madrid.
2008 Manchester United knocked out Roma in the quarter-final who beat Madrid in the previous round.
2009 Chelsea knocked out Liverpool who beat Madrid...

Obviously I'm hoping this won't happen, but I do have a bad sense about such bull crap, after hearing all that bullshite in 2005 about how Liverpool were destined to win it, and that miracle comeback.

So here's me hoping Barca will get up.

Obviously their is a trend but it's all just coincidence.

It reminds me of that Madden curse, where any NFL player who was on the cover had a terrible year that following season.

Well there was also another interesting trend as well. Since the current format of the CL has been introduced (after the second round group stage experiment), the holders have never been past the first knockout round, until this year.

2004 Holders Milan were beaten by Deportivo La Caruna in the first knockout stage.
2005 Holders Porto were beaten by Inter.
2006 Holders Liverpool were beaten by Benfica.
2007 Holders Barcelona were beaten by Liverpool.
2008 Holders Milan were beaten by Arsenal.
2009 United to become the first to successfully defend the European crown since the revamp of the tournament? :D

history is with arsenal.
they have never made a semi and the not qualified for the final.
statistics don't lie.:uhhuh:
Well that's because you've only ever managed to pull 2 semi-final appearances in your whole history. :p

funny how hiddink gets us to the semi finals and is hailed a hero and avram grant got us to the final and was rubbished.

I dont thnik grant ever did anything, and had we kept him i think it would have been similar to what happened under scolari, but a strange game.

Link between La Liga and Premier League:

2001 Real Madrid - Manchester United
2002 Valencia - Arsenal
2003 Real Madrid - Manchester United
2004 Valencia - Arsenal
2005 Barca - Chelsea
2006 Barca - Chelsea
2007 Real Madrid - Manchester United
2008 Real Madrid - Manchester United

2009 Barca are top of the table and Manchester United are top of the table in their respected leagues.

totally agrees BUT feel sorry for grant, woot! anelka, kalou, ballack all complained under his regime as chelsea boss.

Hiddink is a legend wherever he moves to, first PSV, then the Aussies, then Russia, now Chelsea (hoping he signs a 1 yr deal!!):wave:

This season will go down to the last day.

Manchester City will beat Man UTD.
Man utd will beat Wigan.
Man United will lose to Arsenal and win their last game of the season.

On the other hand, we will walk past West Ham, West Brom and the Spurs to take out the title on point difference.

19th title after 19 years since the last one. It's only fitting.
