I hate multiple choice. In English every choice may be seen as correct based on your own individual subjective perspective of the text.bored of sc said:Those competitions are multiple choice. My inherent weakness.
P.S The keyword you've used is 'try'. That's correct; I put in effort but that doesn't always translate into results I'm happy with.

Congratulations. What score did you get? What marks for each set of 10 questions?x.Exhaust.x said:Finally got my results today for Westpac. Distinction without any prep! .
Oh cool, this means I'll get my results soon too =]High Flyer said:I also got distinction for my Westpac Competition, based on a lot of guessing!
Congrats guys . I got 52 points (top 13% if I recall). And shamefully, I'm doing 3u Maths for Year 12bored of sc said:Distinction. 45 points. 13/30. Top 24% of entrants.
You probably were lucky.Ezzz1990 said:I got a Distinction. 52 Points. Top 24%. 15/30. In Questions 1-10, I got 27 Points. In Questions 11-20, I got 20 Points. And in Questions 21-30 I got 5 Points. The funny is however that I got the best mark in Year 12, even though I only do General Maths. The person that got a Credit and 2nd in the year only does Maths 2 Unit. And all 4 of the Extension 1 Maths Students got Proficiency Awards. Lol, it was pretty ironic and amusing.
Also last year when I did Maths 2 Unit and went in the comp I only got a Participation and 25 Points (7/30). Lol. Dropping to General Maths has clearly helped. I guess General Maths gives you a very solid grounding in Mathematics.
