Just thought that since marks are coming in a few hours that we can have a thread where we post our atar calculations from entering our marks and then one for the real ATAR day.

Hey guys how come Hscninja and matrix gave me 80,15 before and now it’s dropped drastically? I put in the same results as before... is it because they are receiving everyone’s marks now and changing my estimated ATAR according to that? If so, I’m stuffed. R.i.p.

I really want an ATAR above 85, and the online calculators have given me a huge range, from 83-90? Does anyone know I'm getting such differing marks from different calculators?

Here are my marks:
English Advanced: 86/100
English Extension 1: 43/50
Biology: 80/100
Ancient History: 81/100
General Maths: 84/100
PDHPE: 88/100

Does anyone think I could get above 85?

I think you have a really good chance, those marks are good

https://www.hscninja.com/atar-calculator. Enter your school name and it tells you the amount of B6 in 2016 for each subject.

https://bettereducation.com.au/results/hsc.aspx. Find your school and it tells you the amount of B6s for each year.

All 3 atar calculators I've used estimated between 97.10 - 97.50 which is a huge surprise for me. Its hard for me to imagine I'd get that tomorrow since I only got 2 B6/E4's and I messed up 4U. Tbh I was expecting 93-94 with the marks I got (Since japanese and english standard scale pretty bad) but I guess we'll see how accurate those atar calculators are tomorrow.

Shoutouts to jazz519 for giving me a similar estimate way back in July.

When you use ATAR calculators should you put in 12 units or 10. When I put 10 units I get a 90-ish score and with 12 units I get a 95-ish score. Which one is more accurate?

I used hscninja for all the calculations and a custom build scaling device to adjust internal marks based on no of band 6 and school rank. These marks were then put into hsc ninja calculator

Matrix sometimes glitches when you type in marks and you can see that by the percentile being like 4 instead of 70+
