It's good in JR because you burn out early, that way you're prepped for the HSC

Wat

Isn't that a bad thing ?
No, by burning out early I meant year 9 and 10, it's easier for the students to cope with it, since they have experienced the pressure before.

Mate I've burned out 4 times already
Is it even possible to burn out that many times already ? I thought it meant studying so much, that you hit a point where you couldn't even touch anything school related anymore, and i'm guessing the effect lasts for some quite time

Yeah, because I study a lot and I ponder a lot and I just give up and stress.

You should try your best to not stress out so much. You can only imagine how you would feel during the actual HSC period, if this is how you are feeling at term 2 prelim

It's something to do with your reputation, I think it increases when you hit a certain amount of likes ?

Didn't they also bump up the selective school entry scores when our grade did it? Otherwise too many people would get accepted by the old standards, or something?
How would that work? They only accept a set number of students anyway so wouldn't the cut-offs change depending on performance in the test?
