for standard short answers, all u gotta do is have a topic sentence, 1 quote and technique per mark, and then yap on about what effect it has and kinda link it back to the question. thats what i do and i got a 17 for trials. prob woulda gotten more but i messed up this compare question
yea i did the same and got 20. u dont need a super deep technique, you can use shit like 'tone' and 'repetition'

what if i give up on memorising full essays and only memorise quotes, techniques, and general analysis , as well as the things i did wrong in my trials so i don’t do it again in the hsc. doesn’t sound that hard. surely it’ll be fine..… i did decent in trials with this sorta method and i did it the day before….
i mean ive always just done that, ive never memorized a full essay. it kinda helps with being more flexible in responses. if you havent already, practise english past papers and adapting ur essay.

hey guys just wondering if anyone doing modern history or business has any plans for study? really struggling with the amount of content in both

Just trying to focus on english for now 😳
business rn im going thru the syllbus and making sure i genuinely understand each heading. Then I'm going to start memorising the actual syllabus points and their order etc. I've also been doing a few past papers and a lot of essays to get ready. I can say ive perfected the art of fabricating statistics

speaking it out loud works for me. Speak a sentence until u get it verbatim. Then do the second one. Once you have the second one, speak everything up until that point.

thats how ive alr memorised all my essays besides a mod c reflection. i'm def an auditory learner tho, so u gotta find (ASAP) what works for u
yeah im fine with memorising them, im asking as in like are we just memorising pieces and tryna adapt or freeballing on the day

Do you freeball for geo, ngl I make it up on the spot, don't even memorise much and get 17s every time. Although imma try to memorise some for this exam so I can get 20s
yea. i memorize statistics or specific pieces of evidence that i think i may need eg; i have memorized the impact of covid on bali due to the lack of tourism bcuz it can be applied for a lot of economic activity essays. i do practise geo essays

oh also for ur reflective piece, memorize the quotes of ur author and talk about the effect. try practising relating the authors text overall to ur story and then the quotes to urself

What if we biologically create a strain of bacteria that disables all function temporarily for two weeks (movement, talking, still can breathe and shii) and spread it across Australia immobilising everyone for two weeks thus, they would have to postpone the HSC, and while they do that since I am superhuman and immune to all health conditions I will find the marking criteria for every paper and secretly share them to everyone.
