omg me, my sleep has been so bad too and everyone's up my ass ab getting band 6's and e4's that i'm lowkey scared to do the exam and not get that

is this just for a short answer or smth else? it happened to me in trials for a couple of essays and it was explained to me that as the markers are paid per question/script they arent going to spend a lot of time deciphering it and will likely give it a mark in the middle of the band they thought it was sitting at. If they cant read it, they cant read it lol but id imagine theyre fine at working out bad hand writing as they mark every year.

How bad can your handwriting be to still get a band 6. if they can't read it do they just mark the bits they can read and not bother? All my responses are very hard to read and I'm scared imma get really bad marks as a result.
