I came 2nd in the state in English Advanced in 2011, with a mark of 99. My ATAR was 99.85 and I'm currently studying medicine at UNSW.
I'm offering tutoring for English Advanced only. I've had 2 years of private tutoring experience and I'm very good at helping you to write great essays, comprehension answers and creative pieces that will impress your teachers! I am particularly good at helping those who have been struggling with the subject so far, but can also help edit and improve essays to make them better than they are!
I'm looking for students around the eastern suburbs who are willing to come to my house for lessons. I charge $40 an hour.
The pieces that I have studied are:
Module A - A Room of Ones Own / Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf
Module B - Hamlet
Module C - Ted Hughes' Birthday Letters
AOS - Great Expectations

I can also, and have in the past learnt texts that I did not study in school off the notes of my students from their teachers - to good results as we are able to have discussions and come to an understanding of the text together.
