I think when you subbed 1 into 7, you did it wrong. Shouldn't it equal to -2?

Uh, I thought it was:

3 + 2(pq + pr + qr) = -1

2(pq + pr + qr) = -4

(pq + pr + qr) = -2

hmm i cbf doing it.. but have any of u guys tried changing equation (1) p^2 + q^2 + r^2 = 3 into (p+q+r)^2=3 then change it into ==> p+q+r = root 3.. Here's something that might help, you guys do it i cbb. =)

You can't just pull the powers of 2 out the front.
