How large is the gap from 3 unit maths to 4 unit? Is there a vast change in difficulty?

Thanks :)

the basic parts of the 4U course aren't much of a step up but as soon as you get into some of the harder questions, the difficulty gap between 3U and 4U is enormous.

To me, the concepts in 3unit are straightforward and the questions aren't that time consuming. Whereas in 4unit, some concepts are not straightforward and some questions are time consuming and you need multiple levels of skills to do them.

4U maths requires a lot of time, dedication and to an extent some talent. You must be willing to put in the extra time ans effort to learn new skills and concepts. The teacher of this course usually has less of an input in your study and it is up to you to preform. Whereas 3U is a more "extended" version of the 2U course.
