3. School rules are designed to only- i mean only- impress the public, they have no other effect.

1 The sport at gregs kicks arse..MCS champions football
2 huge grounds..easy to go for a run
3 the 13 odd playing fields, 5 basketball courts, 4 tennis courts, cricket nets.
4 me mates n most people here are all top blokes...boarding community are like family
5 teachers talk to u like mates

1.some of the best teachers i have ever encountered
2.friendy people
3.large variety of food at cheap prices
4.nice and fast computers
5.close to the city.

dislike:
1. the behaviour of students (juniors esp.) seriously grow up.
2.some of the worst teachers i have ever encountered
3.forced to do a religion course
4.no aircon in rooms except lib.
5.a subject coordinator who likes to take his time with everything. he always says that he is willing to help students, but whenever we see him you can so tell that he doesn't care.

I Like:
1.Small year group.
2.Pretty awesome teachers (well most of them).
3.Performing Arts time, (most of the time, if we're doing something good). ---> PA tours.
4.Air conditioning.
5.Double time HSC.

I Dislike:
1.Having to wake up at 6 to get to school on time.
2.School Fees ---> i seriously can't see where the money goes, they are so fucking expensive.
3.Bodgy common room.
4.Aren't allowed to used the canteen microwave anymore.
5.Bitchiness, competitiveness, and the way rumors get around so quickly (trust me, quicker than most schools).

I like and in no real order:
1. I live 3 min's away by Car, so I can sleep in that little extra longer and not worry too much if I leave an assignment at home, I can get home and back to School in under 8 mins so
2.Teacher's are cool, 1 isn't so cool, but the rest are.
3.Learning.
4.Subjects are interesting.
5.The year 7's move out of our way (When the Seniors walk towards them)

I don't like, and in no real order:
1.Some people are just idiots.
2.Somedays are very boring with sub teachers.
3.1 Hour Periods go forever sometimes.
4.The Canteen took away Potato Pies, BURN IN HELL!!!
5.Parking, and the traffic associated with it.
6.Limited funds to go towards stuff.

dislikes

1. the stupid headmaster
2. football
3. the fact that the major drawcard to the school is music yet it is the area given the least credit by the headdy (aka die fuhuer)
4. the fact i had to wait to be a prefect before walking on the grass

La Salle Academy Lithgow

Like
* The fact that our whole year got along so well last year
* Most of the teachers are so cool!
* A very understanding Headmaster
* fees are pretty good & didnt bug you alot for money
* we had 43 & a half mintures for each period....compared to Lithgow High who have like 50mins..but only 6 periods, we have 7

Dislike
* Its 30mins away from home
* The uniform was annoying..though we liked the senior ties
* its 45mins walk to the shops (i had no car & i had to walk there once a week)
* Our English teacher was fucking shit in senior years
* we had our study periods in the libary...we wanted our own room

still i LOVED La Salle Academy........i hated the perivous school i went too

2. not really academic school
3. non- reliable teachers ( as 1.)
4. morning & lunch time classes
5. Stupid ppl (e.g. On my free period I went to get a concession card from the office and office ppl telling me to come back at lunch time since they're "busy" where they were winging bout some student n talking, but since I had a lunch time class I could not make it and their comment was that "you should've come in in the morning", where I also had a morning class too.)

5 Things I like about my school:
- Exceptionally good at Mathematics (for a semi-selective school, came 18th in the state last year woot!)
- School fees are cheap as....($110 general fee compared to several hundreds of dollars at other schools)
- New library and other recent upgrades especially in computers (Now we have a multimedia room!)
- Some very committed teachers (especially some of the Maths staff who write their own worked solutions to every exercise in the textbook!!!!)
- Close to where I live (so I can sleep just a little bit longer...)

5 Things I hate about my school:
- Lack of adequate facilities and equipment in the classroom (that's what happens with cheap school fees)
- Screwed up English staff in which most cannot teach properly or understand the content (Their lack of commitment and laziness is what's dragging the school down)
- Selfish and arrogant principal (spends money on ruining the playground after completely covering our old beloved playground with black asphalt rather than upgrading our classrooms and goes on and on about how we are sooooo much better than every other "stupid" school)
- Corrupt non-selective students (no offence to them but their boisterous behaviour and rebellious attitudes can easily disrupt the learning of others)
- Rude office ladies (I had a bleeding nose once and came to the office with my hand gripping my nose with a tissue. This office lady told me to hold it with my bare hands and then walked off and never came back. I was left unattended in an awkward position holding my nose for almost an half an hour before I finally decided to walk out of the office myself! I encountered that same lady when paying money and she very rudely shouted at me accusingly in front of everyone for not bringing change...)

well neways now that im at hurlstone i can make another list and see how it contrasts with my previous post.

Likes:
1: Academically Competitive environment
2: Friendly people
3: MOstly good teachers
4: Good technology (computers and projectors)
5: Easy to fit in

Dislikes:
1: Some crappy teachers
2: Long travel to school
3: Offline classes which start at 7:45 meaning waking up at 6.30
4: Some classrooms and TOILETS is a mozzie breeding ground -_-
5: Poor physical environment and compulsory agriculture (I have to do ag for HSC ><)

-Crap teachers
-Crap resources
-Students who dont care
-Lack of multiculturalism (seriously my entire school is white! Theres nothing wrong with that, but it kinda sucks when your the only ethnic person in your school! Im african btw)
-Our uniform is brown and yellow (white for seniors)
