im sick of being the tag along with my 2 supposed best mates and their boyfs. they both started relationship[s around the same time and for 6 months it was 'party of 5'. now its a party of 4.. they never do anything thats not a 'couples' thing. everything involves blah and their partner.. theyve stopped calling and emailing and the like. we never see each other... and when we do.. we have nothing that the 3 of us can chat about so it ends up going back to the boys (if theyre not already there) anyway...

Best thing is to wait for them to breakup. Trying to speed it up will ruin your friendship. Unless you can do it cunningly and covertly.

hmm im in sort of the same situation, except that one of my best friends bf's is my ex, so he doesnt ever come out with us, coz its really awkward, and my other best friends bf is an absolute wanker, and i hate him, and im teh driver of our little group so what i say goes, and he doesnt come. besides, hes such a shit bf that he's rather sit at her house and smoke pot then spend 5 mins with her.

also, girls...guys are just assholes...and some of us are absolute wankers...but you should stand up for what ou think, if you dont like them then dont socialise with them...and shellybelly, if you're driving, fuck him off...YOU're the driver, so make the rules clear, and make sure he knows what he can and cant do/say

Fair enough. But I assume that they're not completely ignorant to the fact either. They probably know or have a feeling... BUT they choose to ignore it and still spend time with the boyfriend.

When I suggested how to resolve the issue, I intended it to be carried out in a very stealthy manner. It's no use having them know what you're doing, because then you'll just look pathetic.
