pkf is the 6th largest in australia though

and the market cap of the big 4 is significantly greater than the market cap of the 5th

good thing about pkf is that its listed as a 'mid tier' because it isn't big 4 and has 'more than 15 partners'.

understatement really.. it has 160 partners.
it could be in a 'big 5' =]
Nah 5th is WHK Horwarth, which is essentially just the previous WHK Group with Horwarth tacked on before Horwarth got bought out by Deloitte. I guess they saw marketing value in the dead brand name?

lol @ "aim"

I am sure they never do it. I mean, they are supposed to either give you the offer or rejection letter. If people didn't get any of them, that probably means that they haven't started it.

i stand corrected on pkf's size haha. the point remains the same though.

to hungwell: hmm yeah try zipping it. what one of my teachers suggested was just writing your own report out in a word format and then getting someone from your school to sign it.

hmm this is true. have you scanned it and then made it a pdf? or did the school make it available as a pdf?

what i did was typed it up in word format and said that it was an unofficial copy, and that the real copy would be presented if i were to advance to the next stage of recruitment. It worked for me, no firms complained xD

I don't know if they would like it though...would they? Sounds little bit, I don't know. I once wrote that and someone said it sounds a bit...
No, I don't think it sounds arrogant/big headed at all.

There's no harm in letting recruiters know that you are looking beyond the current stage of recruitment. It shows interest in the position.

It just depends on how you deliver it. Making it blatantly obvious might be perceived poorly, but if you are subtle with it, it will add to your chances. It just comes with experience though, so the more interviews/contact with HR you can get, the better.

does anyone know if its a bad thing to overflow your resume with awards etc?

How many pages should the CV be? I heard anything above 2-3 would not be good.

Thanks
