A credit average or above. i.e. WAM of 65 or above.

A distinction average might be needed if you have low UAI.

Just a further question to this. Im looking at adding commerce to my mechatronics degree. I understand you have to go through UAC again to do so.

I got a credit average (only just @ 67.5) last semester and a UAI of 90.95 so I think i should get it if I do but say I didnt get in, does that muck up my enrollment in the pure engineering? Do I have to put the pure engineering as a second preference again?
