Yeah, a lot faster. Considering that Cable's maximum downstream data rate is 6 Mbps (I think) and you have to share that with other users using your service.theone123 said:that would be faster than cable :O?

There you go.wrx said:Cable is 10mbps
ADSL2 goes up to 12Mbps, and ADSL2+ goes up to 26Mbps.Grizzly said:Apparently Korea, has something called VDSL, speed of up to, 100mbs
Thats like using the internet as if it were your own home network =D
ADSL2 goes up to 8mbs i think - the max potential of the ADSL modem. The only differene is the other end.
iPrimus isn't using ADSL2. ADSL1 goes up to 8Mbps, so iPrimus is still only using ADSL1.theone123 said:oh, lolz, then how come everyone is saying ADSL2 hasnt been available in aus, if iprimus has already?
Hhhmmm....that's what I'm wondering.anti said:The price difference between ADSL1/ADSL2 will probably be large enough to discourage most users who currently have ADSL1 or who just want a 'faster than dialup always on' connection..
