I sucked throughout year 12. Atar cut off 90 is too high. Any other methods to get into that course?

> get into any course (eg, UWS)

> do well and maintain a high average

> apply for internal/external transfer

Instructions unclear, dick got stuck in microwave.

Need more details/specifics :O
that means you've done it properly

but yeah I don't want to type up everything cos I am lazy so just wait for someone who actually legitimately cares

good luck :D

Basically he's saying do a similar course at another University with a lower cut-off such as UWS and do a transfer to macquarie applied finance after first year, where you need maintain decent marks to have a good chance of transferring.(although Macq should be fine)

I'd do a lower course then apply for internal transfer...

Can you do b. com at mq? Cutoff was low 80s iirc and they give out a lot of bonus points. You can do all the core units required for appfin in the commerce degree so you aren't wasting time/money, then transfer after 1 semester or 1 year. I do appfin/bcom (prof. accounting) and most of the people in my classes are ordinary com students. You'd need a 65 average which is not hard to get if you apply yourself.

If you can't get into ordinary com at mq you can just do another low cutoff course that you think you'll get decent marks in and mq has plenty of those.
