Hey guys im doin an assessment on Hatshepsut for HSC and it asks me to explain the relationship between Hatshepsut and Amun and also, part 2 asks: was Amun the only god supported by Hatshepsut during her reign?

Any information and assistance is highly appreciated and i thank you all in advance.

Nope, Hatshepsut built a temple pratically to every popular God.

edit - okay, that was a shit post.

Look at Deir El-Bahri, there's 6 different sections, each dedicated to a certain god.

Look at the reliefs of her devine birth, check out the gods involved.

Look at the reliefs at the temple city.

Hm...I'm doing sort of the same thing, except I need to use inscriptions as evidence. I'm talking about how she went to Punt because Amun told her to basically, and she got frankinsence, because it was his favourite scent, etc. Also, she alleged that he was her father. The father thing is on the second colonnade at Djeser Djeseru (Deir El Bahri), and the Punt inscriptions are on the same colonnade, but on the other side (on the left - I THINK. Don't quote my on that hehe)

Good luck. To you, and to myself. Lol.

Cheerio.

oh please *begs* lets NOT start that one up again. you and your conspiracies *shakes head*

if you're going to be looking at the relationship between Hat and Amun then yes, deir-el-bahri is a good place to start, but you might also want to consider the obelisks and her claims on them about her 'father' Amun and his direct orders to her. To get more detail yo should consider talking about not only what she claimed their relationship was, but a) how did she take the relationship between pharaoh and the gods further than any other previous NK pharaoh, and b) WHY did she do this.
anyway, just some suggestions
