for section 3 i was really rushed...
i said ways to finance=
- domestic market, issue shares
- ask for more equity (unlikely cos huge amount of capital needed)
- international markets and eurocurrencies
- international factoring firms can provide finance-80%
process for marketing plan=
1.situation analysis
2.set marketing objectives
3.identify target market
4.marketing strategies (4ps)
5.control and implementaion
then i said market segmentation: undifferentiated, multi segment, niche,
then target market characteristics: geographic, demographic, psychographic, behavioural
then 4 p's options
then specific globa issues - reaserch issues, global branding, standardisation and differentiation blah blah blah........
financial management i said:
like domestic biz, hire working capital mnger specialist geocentrically in each subsidiary
issues: methods of payment...i said open account not safe, advance payment great but unlikely cos biz has no int. biz relationships yet, doc collection ok but letter of credit best...as ensured payment..then i said certified or irrevocable best.
credit risks: financial viability of the debtor...credit checks through austrade...credit checking agency...
hedging n derivateives...enter into derivatives such as forward contracts and currency options...blah blah
