any AIM users? how do I turn that fuggin annoying sound down or off??? (1 Viewer)

hey guys, does anyone know how to turn the AIM message sound down or off???

I can't find a way of doing it

it's like ten times louder than any other noise on my PC

Open up AIM. Hit "Setup", then go to the "Talk" tab. There's a button there labelled sounds. Click on that and uncheck all the options to turn the sound off.

Judging from what you said, I think your looking for

Setup > Preferences > IM/Chat/Mobile

There are 2 "Sounds" buttons, click them and then untick everything in them and it should stop the sounds.
