wow hey, somebody else!

i'm hoping to do butterflies & hurricanes on piano/vocals.

the piano is fine, but the vocals are difficult for my voice mostly because of the long notes that actually START really high, so i may need to play around with that a little bit. but not too much because it's really easy to kill a muse song, lol

feeling good would be great for a hsc piece =]

as well as that i want to do bittersweet symphony by the verve, also on piano/vocals

There's a boy in my class that would do Muse for every elective if he could. We did Invincible last term and Knights of Cydonia last year, and we're doing another one this term although I can't remember what it is called right now. The vocals can be hard but with a decent replacement on guitar/piano, Muse songs can make great instrumentals, too.

oh man, if any of you can hit the notes Matt does, i'll be forever jealous of all of you.

butterflies & hurricanes would be so incredible!

especially if you had an orchestra with you.

Was going to play hysteria on bass (had it down pat slightly faster, even, than they play it)
Had a full band (vocals being replaced by guitar) backing
But i effed my wrists and thus can't play bass.
Singing a piece by Regina Spektor (fairly contemporary)

Oh dudette, that sucks balls. I've had to limit myself to the simpler songs on bass too due to lack of practise on my accompaniment's behalf.
