I've got one more gened to choose and was just wondering if anyone knows what the assessments for these courses are like?

GENL2020 An Introduction to the Australian Legal System
GENL1020 World Religions: Customs and Laws

Thanks.

With the World Religions I'm pretty sure there is an exam-based assessment at the end. But judging by the number of med students who have done it I don't think it would have been too difficult... We're pretty lazy when it comes to doing these courses.

I know people who did those two last year. With the intro to aust legal system i think there was an essay which was worth 70%. With world religions, there was an end of session exam about 1.5 hours long.

Intro to the Australian legal system is alright. I have no idea about the other one.

The 70% thing was a take-home exam.

10% was class participation.

The other 20% you could either do a class presentation on a legal topic or take part in a debate on a whether Australia should become a republic or not. The other option was to write a report commenting on news articles relating to the legal system over the term.
