Hey all,

Just wondering if any of you have been contacted by UNSW med for a late round interview yet?

Yep....Got it today.

P.s. any1 sick and tired of seeing that every second person who got over 99.90 wants to do medicine ("or something around medicine" - a.k.a. i might not get in the first round so i'll be a bitch and persist) - the competition is lethal!

not realli .. but if they work hard enough and get the marks i dun see why u have to look over them..

the challenge of getting med is the fun/v. stressful part.. and its rewarding..
then the challenge of doing well is also nice. :)

Mind me asking what your UAI and UMAT scores were?

I got 98.95 and 174, but no email... most discouraging..

The dux of my school got an interview in September, but a computer error meant her slot was double-booked, so she's been rescheduled to this interviews period in January. But I've been living in a hole since school ended, so I'm sure some of my classmates got second-round interviews but I dunno about them.

Sorry to hear that. Good luck in future, wherever you may set your focus (and should it remain with medicine, all the better!)
