Hi,

I am doing the preliminary course of Advanced english. We are doing our Area Of Study on Identity.

Just wondering if you could all give me suggestions for texts to add to my portfolio, I am missing a poem and feature article!

Also, does anybody know of where to find example critical analysis essays.

Thanks in advance,

MllKJ

Hmm I did, "Go Ask Alice", "Catcher in the Rye" and lyrics, in year 10 dealing with the concept of Identity. With it, I can upload my essay from last year.

A 7 page essay for Year 10? Ah geez, that is like Godlike.

+1 for great analysis.

In a recent assignment I used

American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis
The City by Constantine Cavafy (poem)
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell
Citizen Kane (film)

If you were looking for an additional poem, I would suggest The Hollow Men by Eliot, or something appropriate by Frost.
