APM in Sydney (1 Viewer)

Anyone know if this is a great place? I love the courses they have to offer!! And its fairly cheap to study part time for a year and get a diploma.

what are the costs associated with them?
I'll be completing bach eco and soc sci at usyd, majoring in management, human resource management and marketing.
I may consider specialising in adverts via the diploma apm offer

Is there scholarship applications?

It's like $6,000 for part time diploma and $14,000 for an advanced diploma

I'm not really sure about scholarships...I think its based on financial disadvantage?

What's the difference between the advanced and part time diplomas.
Hmm I wonder if I could only do the subjects I need and pay less, as ill be majoring in marketing and dont need the shite id already learnt

I've done a business diploma before and they said I could probably get out of doing subjects I've already done but that won't change the price of the course...its a set amount no matter whether you get credit for certain subjects...

oh yeh, advanced diploma is full time, 5 days a week like school for a year...just a diploma is 2 nights a week for 3 hours each with the occasional saturdays...

yeh...they can let u off from doing subjects but u still pay full price...there r scholarships but the applications have already closed for 2006...n now they rnt based on financial disadvantage....

my heart was set on apm, but cant afford it, and i would be travelling probably 5 hours a day...or sumthing like that...but i do know heaps bout it if u have qs...

U should check out Australian Business Academy. I am thinking fo doing Graph Des there but also thinking of Dip/Ad Dip in Bus Mang/Mark. They are a few thousand cheaper than APM plus there scholarships are still open.

There are other similar quals like that but a bit exy$$$

They reckon they'll help me get a job at the end of my cousre but I ma thinkign of going to uni so I'll gety credit with them.

I was looking at their Parra campus but they also have a barnd new one in Nth Syd next year. check em out, www.aba.edu.au

Hello,

I'm thinking of going to APM too!, but does anyone know people who have graduated at APM? Any good? Also is it like comparing to Uni qualification the same 100%? I know about the marketing degree where attending APM is like one year quicker. Total of 2 yrs to graduate, and the experience from large firms. But does anyone know anything about it? Have been doing the degree?
