Are we allowed to take a text from another module to make as our related text for Belonging?

e.g. take a text from Module A and use it for the related text for Belonging

One teacher said yes, another said no.. so I'm quite confused

well you can but it just gets frowned on as they think that you didn't actually look for a text and just grabbed a book from the prescribed list. Also the person marking the area of study is unlikely to mark module A, B or C so they wont know if you did it and probably think that you did it for Module ___ and just grabbed it over for your related text. So generally you shouldnt

No - absolutely not. It won't just be frowned upon it will be marked down. Please tell the teacher who said you could use one that they are an idiot...actually, you probably shouldn't - calling a teacher an idiot can also get you marked down. (Note: I am a teacher).

Technically you're allowed to, but it's not a good idea - markers will just think you're lazy
