It's a substantial lead on many of the other students... You've essentially done 1/3 of the Year 12 course up until mid course. :D A lot is calculus.

i'm almost finished real functions and then i've only got the quadratic function left
i'm skipping locus and tha parabola and'll do that later, but to balance it out i've already done year 12 probabilty

in my textbook there isn't rlly a calculus topic as such its more integrated into the other topics

What textbook are you using? It should have a introductory calculus section at least... :)

Locus is rather easy (but can get pretty annoying so don't leave it too late). The parabola section is all parametrics basically and it's pretty big so have fun! :D.

Shitty questions. We use Fitzpatrick, but we get sheets from Cambridge and Coroneos.

Jai adore cambridge <3

the questions are more challenging, the questions are more diverse in that each question requires a new concept to reach your solution, the paper is glossy :)
YUMMY

format hmm well layout very organised and format is easy on the eyes.

WHAT about your opinions of this book?

where are you guys up to in maths?

Ahh, wondered where this thread had got to... Anyway, just wanted to have a quick check in with others to compare progress because I'm pretty sure my school is once again lagging behind.

Maths (2U): Basic Arithmetic and Algebra/Surds, Coordinate Geometry

Maths Extension 1 (3U): Polynomials, Circle Geometry

Sooo yeaaah that's ALL the work we've done in term 1 :mad1: . Pretty sure that classifies as 'falling behind' but I'd like to hear the general consensus lol
