I used to play and online MMORPG, though now I only long on once every month or so, primarily just so the account doesn't get deleted.

As for consoles, I'll occasionally get something like THPS or Tekken out. Mainly just for some late night drunk battles with friends. Although in the past few days I've been replaying Sly 2.

Blizzard is a parasite it is a factory of demise, like other MMORPG creators they are dedicated to creating viral games which have the purpose of absorbing the lifestyles of the weak and financially drain them as well just to allow a person to interact using a virtual character in the game.
MMORPG players are weak, the use of such virtual characters allow them to hide away from real life which they find dark, miserable and terrible and it is their fault for not making it better for themselves and therefore seek fantasy as a substitute for their pitiful reality.
FPS games are a testament to a person's reflexes.

Why yes, i am as a matter of fact. I do not find playing games anywhere near as entertaining as i did when i was younger. I would much rather shoot real guns, drive real cars and shit.

i got over games at one stage, but i got back into em a month later.

i dont game heaps, only in weekends and on fridays, for like..2hrs.

Last nite i was playing some freeware online fps, Combat Arms, i forgot how fun it was, played for about 3hrs till 1am

i think i'll start taking my ds to uni again, play some castlevania and/or pokemon on the train trip.

I play games because of their storyline

I play WoW and it has such a complicated and long storyline, its amazing... But i do get mind-numbingly bored of it a lot of the time and I agree its rediculous when people plan their lives around it ie not going out friday night cause they wanna raid or meeting up with people from the game just because they get along well behind the mask of an avatar.

Really, I don't care what kind of game someone plays just as long as its not the centre of their life....Unless its Rugrats Treasure Hunt, fuck that game is jizz...

Last year I used to play games heaps, I was a serious hardcore gamer, I would spend most of my spare time playing them, especially UT2004, I was ranked in the top 1% for that game back in the day...

This year though I have probably played the same amount so far as I would have in a month last year. A few hours every few weekends...

Strange how that happened, so I kind of am over games.
