Hi all!

I would like to request an ATAR estimate for my brother, who is doing his HSC this year.

The following information is from his half-yearly report. I've also included some detailed statistics provided by his school (In case they may help your estimates).

2014: 89th
2013: 102nd
2012: 93rd

I think it would be closer to 98.90-99.00 ish simply because ranking first in ext 2 does really well. Cohort seems reasonably strong for other subjects.

Thanks dan! By cohort, I'm assuming you mean his school's cohort this year? How do you know his cohort is strong for other subjects?

mid 98..needs to improve english to top 10 for 99+

I mean student's rank; when ranked 1, the strength of the cohort is less relevant but still counts towards alignment. (I don't think his mark is affected though). The school rank is pretty good.
