As of yesterday half yearlies are over for me, and after a term of working harder than anyone else at my school ( I know this because everyone is seriously always partying ) including my brother and sister ( yes I'm a triplet :O haha ) , I am really disappointed :/

School rank is 130 ~ 150
Maths general - 81% ( rank 32/150)
Senior Science - 95% ( rank 1/60 )
Pdhpe - 88% ( top 20/ 130 )
Business Studies- 88% in term 4 . Unknown half yearly ( rank 12/112)
Community and Family Studies - 99% term 4. Unknown half yearly, but feel like it went excellent ( rank 1/60)
English standard - 80% in term 4. Unknown half yearly, but teacher said I went well ( rank ~15/150)

No need to bump this 6 minutes after the last post.

If you want an ATAR of 95+, aim for a top 5 rank in everything.

sorry, just frantic atm :/ Feel like absolute crap

I think I can get business studies up to top 3.. There's only about 3% separating the top 20 atm ..
Btw is my school rank low for a selective school ?

I wouldn't really know.

Has your school fluctuated in the rankings that much in the past few years?

Not really .. its been around the 130 mark for a few years now .. Apparently the english ranks moved into conjunction with the top schools , but it didnt really affect the rank

Don't get too bothered about the rankings.

They just provide us an estimate on the quality of students at your school. Nothing more.

Well considering the area it's in, It's tremendously higher than it's neighbouring schools.

I was really hoping for a 98 atar, which I later conceided I wouldn't get .. But I always thought a 95 was possible. Now I'm not so sure. I guess It's nursing not medicine for me :( Although I'll still attempt to bring up my atar, or eventually transfer into med based on GPA later in life

For an ATAR of 98, aim for a top 2 ranking in all subjects.
