these were half yearlie ranks but ive gunned the past two english adv assessments now 14/15 and 14/15 both weighing 15% where the average was 10/15. so im guessing ive gone up around 30ish ranks? ext eng, math,chem,va and 3u math is consistent but i bombed out in chem. got 17/35 which weighed 20% and the average was 20/35

I reakon 93-95. At the moment, english is the only subject preventing you from getting an ATAR above 95. Otherwise, your rankings are very good considering your school ranking.

apparently best two units of english count, so if my eng ext will count as one unit and my two units of advanced are cut in half, can i get over 95?

Yes you could. At the moment your on track for 95+, just a few improvements need to be made in both EE1 and Advanced and you should make it.

what about chem? 'cause i got 17/35 in a 20% weighing assessment where the average was 20/35. is that gonna significantly make my rank drop thus affect my atar?

Depends by how far it drops you in terms of rankings, but yes it does have the potential to drop your ATAR.
