I've just received an email from UAC stating my ATAR has changed from 87.2 to 87.45, due to revised marks from the Board of Studies. Any idea as to why this has happened, as I haven't applied for mark re-checks or anything like that.

when something like this happens its best not to ask questions but I'd guess it one of two reasons The scaling of one of your subjects changed slightly and therefore your agregate was increased (meanig a higher atar) or while doing another results check they discovered an error in your marks or found another one of your writing booklets (this happens) and you were awarded higher marks accordingly
