Shannon has a better voice than Guy or Cosima
"Shannon's is probably a voice with more range and more dynamic variation and colour variation,"
pfft"...For me [Shannon] shows a lot of potential in the voice and he'll probably take it a lot further."
Everything you said mirrored my thoughts exactly.Originally posted by 1 more
hahahah ND!
The Smh really has jumped onto idol bandwagon wholeheartedly, Id say there were about 10 articles in this weekends paper with Idol content. Even avid fans/stalkers such as myself can begin to tire.
Though that particular article i found really interesting. His comments seemed to be contrary to almost everything that the judges have ever said, Cosima having the best voice in the entire competition, Shannons imperfect voice, and Marcias overly effusive and repetitive praise of Guys heaven sent voice are some things that come to mind. I guess this discrepancy just goes to show the massive gulf between tertiary music education and the marketability of pop singers?
If he thinks that, then the future of the conservatorium looks dim, cuz guy sounds better, its as simple as thatOriginally posted by ND

Hey, that conservatorium man is a dumbass.
Ultimately, it's about image, publicity and money etc not purely on singing tho i must say it is a big part but not PURELY.
I mean conservatorium......PFFFFT, orchestra, instruments, opera etc......can't say I've seen any of his singers so popular before.
I only agree wif the Paulini thing but yeah.....as if he's gonna buy their cds and stuff. PPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTT hE thinks he's so good judging ppl
