Does anyone do these subjects? If yes, are they any good because I am torn between these two courses. Macquarie has interesting units and it is so close to home as opposed to UNSW which is so far away. The only thing that I don't like about Macquarie is that it involves media production which I am totally not interested in. HELP please!

im in my 1st year doing B Media with B Law at Macquarie.
B Arts in Media is basically just the new name for B Media. If youre planning to do just media, I'd definitely go with Macquarie.
dont worry, theres only one compulsory production unit in 1st year. after that you get to choose what you wanna do; whether it be writing for print (journalism), screen production, screen writing, multimedia, radio production etc.

Also, the production unit is a freaking breeze. There are only two assignments that are actually practical - one is pretty much putting together a slideshow, and the other is just conducting and editing an interview. I was dreading the unit but it ended up being my easiest unit.
