Hi.
I am looking into taking the degree of Civil Engineering and Computer Science. I understand that these are two very separated fields of study. What are the career possibilities in the combination of these two degrees? Thanks

You can work as a civil engineer or a software engineer (obvs)

But I guess you could go into modelling buildings via software etc.

TBH though despite not being directly connected I'm sure many of the STEM foundations (problem solving, numerical literacy etc.) are easily transferable.

You'll find that many students who complete almost two unrelated degrees don't aim for a job that 'combines' the two degrees. They complete them out of interest but focus on one line of work.

It's almost impossible to find a specific line of work that combines two unrelated degrees at graduate level.
