I don't know of anyone doing it. My warning as with all courses like this is that its a very narrowly focused even vocational course and many people change their mind completely about what they want to do at uni.

However as it seems you are already heavily into art this wouldn't be a major concern. Though I would worry about employability....

you have to take two majors so one of mine will obviously be art history but you also get another one. it's pretty good 'cause it's basically just a straiht BA and then, like, you tick another box (or something) once you're in to go to this course *shrug*

Its abit more restricted than that:

It is compulsory to do an Art History Major.
The second major must be either: Anthropology, archeology, english, film studies, gender: sexuality and culture, history, any language, or philosophy. Which cuts out alot.
The two majors are each a 42 unit minimum (seven courses) leaving sixty more units to reach the minimum 144 of which 18 must be other courses in Art History.

My advice is if you get in to NOT tick the box when enrolling but to still do all the courses as if you were in the BA(Art History and Curatorship). This way you can get a taste for it and if you like it transfer easily (and with no lengthening of you degree) into a BA (AH+C) and if you don't you can do a plain BA.

I considered the Policy Studies named specialisation however decided against it as it could not be combined with any other degree's. This is also something you should consider.
