Hey everyone,

I want to become a Mathematics teacher. I read the Handbook but still don't understand what subjects I need...and what I should do.
What subjects do I pick? I require "Min UOC For Award: 192"... I am so confused :/

Min UOC 192 for award means how many units of credit you need to do before you can graduate. A typical course is 6 UOC so you are looking at doing at least 32 courses before you can graduate. The normal full time load per semester is 4, so that means you are expected to finish the degree after 4 years of study.

If you scroll down to almost the bottom of this page http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/programs/2014/4076.html you get a rough plan of what courses to do. It says something about prescribed science elective. My understanding is that you need to take courses from physics, chemistry or biology. Someone doing Science will need to confirm this.
