Bacon is one of my favourite meats.
When I was in year 5, a group of small muslim boys convinced me that pork actually were maggots. They said if you poured acid on them, "the maggots will come out". They genuinely believed it too, because that's what their parents told them. I didn't eat bacon for a good few weeks until one day my mum made a pork roast for dinner and I refused to eat it. She told me they were crazy.
