Bands On The OC.. GRRR (1 Viewer)

Youth Group's song, Shadowland, is going to be played on an OC episode sometime soon. any thoughts on this? plus that song has already been around for ages.

Look, I'm no expert, but in my humble opinion it doesn't matter where you heard a song, whether it be in some underground hang out, or on a tv show. If you like the music, then great. I think some people feel threatened when a band gets mainstream exposure because some 'indie' or 'underground' fans feel that their niche is threatened, and they will no longer have an exclusive little 'club' to belong to. Yes, I will admit it, I didn't listen to this type of music much in my past life, but after I heard it a few times, it began to grow on me, and now I really enjoy the music that they put on this show.

The OC is my escapism for the week...that does not make me a retarded, bimbo, teenybopper ho.....
