im planning on doing an accounting major and majoring in maths for the science component.

for session 1 im doing
acct1501 accounting and financial management 1a
econ1101 microeconomics
math1141 higher mathematics 1A
...

for session 2
acct1511 accounting and financial management 1b
econ1102 macroeconomics
math1081 discrete maths
math1241 higher maths 1b

what should i do for my final subject for session 1

plus: which would be better maths or higher maths ???

If you're planning on doing maths as a major, I don't see any good reason why you shouldn't be doing higher maths.

For your remaing option, if you're going for CPA/CA, then do one of the subjects you need for exemtion like FIN16XX or LEGT1XXX.

is it true that econ1202 and 1203 ie. quantative methods A and B are corerequisites???
some places say it is and some say it isn't ???

i meant are they core requirements for all commerce/economics students ???
