Id go the Yamaha Pacifica. We used to have one at school, plus I hate Ibanez's and shitty Squires.

Still havent got one yet, have you had a bad experience with the Pacifica 112?bradc1988 said:I hope you didn't get that Pacifica....
Get an Ibanez RG, probably get a RG320FM for around $700 now, or just get that 170DX.

It's my personal belief that one should begin humble, rather than immediately commencing with a high-quality instrument. I recommend the Ibanez GRX40 and AX30 guitar and amp packs, as well as the Ashton AG131 and AG132 starter sets. As a general guideline, if you have no idea what you're doing, but you have a $400+ guitar, you're extremely lucky, spoilt and/or rich.
Yeah I know that site well, and only thing still in debate is the width of the Ibanez Jet King JTK1 compared to the Yamaha Pacifica 112 & how they work with the amps.bradc1988 said:Out of the amps listed, I'd say VOXAD15 > Epiphone Valve Juniour > Spider > Cube.
Since I don't know many of those guitars listed, go here and look at the reviews;
