20 gigs only for games? gears of war is like 10gigs itself, so's s.t.a.l.k.e.r. clear sky!

i'd need at least 50gigs for games.

i need to make a partition, clear sky doesnt work in windows 7, neither does CATIA (cad software i need for uni), so im keeping at least 60gigs (out of 320) on my laptop for my XP partition.

Forgot to mention, I'm not a gamer.

I just play them occasionally.

the only major problem i heard with that laptop is the battery life. but i heard dell has already improved it abit. think it should last me 2-3hrs. plus i can just undervolt the laptop and improve the battery life by 15-30mins (with no decrease in performance of course. but definitely i'm not overclocking the laptop).
I have a Dell Studio 15 and the battery lasts easily for 2-3 hours. I got the 9 cell battery instead of the 6 cell. Also you can buy an extra battery separately if you wish.

This has very similar specs to mine:

- Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64bit (English)
- Intel® Core™ i5-540M (2.53GHz, 4 Thread, turbo boost up to 3.06GHz, 3M cache)
- Microsoft(R) Works Include Microsoft(R) Home & Student 60 Days Trial
- Onsite help in your home, by Gizmo
- 1Yr Carry-In Service after Remote Diagnosis
- McAfee™ Security Center (Multi-Language) - 30-Day Trial Version
- 15.6 " 720p WLED (1366x768) Display with TrueLife™
- 4GB (2GBx2) 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM
- 500GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive
- Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Combination Drive with dual layer write capabilities
- 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570
- 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
- Dell(TM) Wireless 365 Bluetooth Module
- Dell(TM) Keyboard with Touchpad (English)
- Chainlink Black with Black U-Trim

For $1579

This has already been covered in this thread:
The only thing Macbooks have going for them is they have good batteries and are a fashion statement. That is all.
Now let the adults finish talking.

Yes, and it can be installed on any computer, hence Macbooks are a waste of money. Get a PC and then change OS systems, if you're that infatuated with it.

You can't reliably hackintosh 90% of laptops, and once you do you're often only one update away from breaking your installation.
