Hey man, on your post I think I'm going to do straight law next year. With the exception of Sydney no arts degree will give me the subjects I want (ancient mesopotamian civilisations) and I think the extra law electives will make up for any ground lost in not having a combined degree.

I don't think the extra law courses will be that bad, and at least you won't have to hang out with wanker arts students. And ultimately the combined degree is one extra year between you and a Zegna.

You have obviously never met a law student.

lmao exactly what I was thinking.

In all honesty most of us are nice but there are some real wankers out there, more so than in arts.

You may actually discover other areas other interest when studying Arts by the way, I went in with the idea that I only wanted to do Criminology subjects but I enjoyed politics, social policy and other subjects as well

Get into uni before you start that crap. You never know, one day you might be pleading with the dean at UWS just to get in.

Hi guys,

Is anyone here currently doing straight law/graduate law at monash? I'm very interested to go to monash (from Perth), but I've read from elsewhere that the students there weren't very satisfied with the academic staff and the course? An understatement of the law faculty?
Anybody having friends at monash and have heard stories would like to chip in?
