I used to be vegetarian. The past year or two I have been trying to eat some meat. I had one mouthful of chicken the other day (had not eaten since I had 1 or 2 mouthfuls probably 3 months or longer ago). I also had one bite of a sausage (had not eaten since my last bite probably a year ago).
The trouble is I don't like the taste and texture of meat now. I'm not super against trying something (I used to be; I am still reluctant though) although I don't have a desire to eat it really. It used to be the whole moral sort of thing once although now it is more the fact that I just don't like it and why should I eat something I don't like.
I stopped eating red meat for 2/3 years before I stopped eating all meat including chicken and fish etc (which lasted for over 5 years). I am at the stage where I am starting to get comfortable to eat a small amount of fish now (as in like once every month or two months etc).
Steak just doesn't appeal to me at all.
