anybody who has seen all 6 seasons of the sopranos will know that it is probably the only tv show that gives seinfeld a run for it's money.

Never a show like it before or after. The last of the great Australian police dramas.
And finally available on DVD, first series anyway.

Family Guy? No way. Don't get me wrong, it's got its moments. I used to love it. But after a while it just gets old and predictable. "Remember that time I...[insert random bullshit here]". quote]

It's very hard to name one

the shortlist would be
24
OC
JAG
NCIS
Dr Who
Veronica Mars
Skins (season 1-2 ONLY)
Stargate (almost forgot about the whole shelf of my bookcase of DVDs)

Wining it for me at present is 24 as it still interesting and yes things are repeated but it stays dynamic and interesting

seinfeld - purely for its relevance to everyday life and dilemmas. Its witty and has possibly the best array of characters around, especially its side characters - the parents and uncle leo, newman, watly, puddy, etc. I miss it, but its end was possibly the greatest finale for a while that i have scene. I mean - the last line of the show is the very first line of the show. if only there were more storylines near the beginning of the show. also they happened to make a whole show on masturbation without even mentioning the word. only one could pull it off - larry david. catch curb your enthusiasm for more seinfeld-esque comedy where david plays himself in the sticom.
