Yea, that's what I thought.
It wouldn't make sense to give it to the top 2U students and not 3U or 4U...

Don't worry, I just emailed them :p
Hugh got the award in 2002 which is right, because if you read the webpage it's for topping the state in the year BEFORE the award...

The list seem to be a bit off, with Board of Studies stating Hugh Miller topped maths in 2001 and David Chan in 2002.
the 2000 and 2001 award winners seem to be a bit off too
in fact, only Hugh seems to be correct in the recent years ;)

So, someone from Kempsey HS DID come first in extension 2 in 1990? [please say no lol........ Kempsey =S ]
Yep, son of one of the doctors at that time. My brother was in year 12 in that year, and it was 1989. Quite shocking actually

Hmm..... never would have imagined!.... Still can't lol.
Its not that hard to imagine is it.. I mean, there's nothing else to do in Kempsey, so why not just do maths all day? Without all the excitement and distraction of a normal town, think of how much bonus time you'd have with nothing but study to do?!

I'm at Sydney Grammar yr 12...our big gun is obviously Daniel Wong, (surprised his name hasn't come up here), and also Brian Leung and Matthew Libling will do extremely well. I think Matthew followed the 4Unit course last year but didn't actually do the exam...
