Bio-medical Engineering--neone who work in that area, or taking a course at uni...how is it?? wat are the pros and cons?? cause im interested into becoming one.

i wanna do biomedical too.... i wanted to combine it with commerce though.. =/
any first hand information??

Biomedical engineering does offer you a more flexible career choice as you are also a qualified mechanical engineer. As a result it shares many subjects with mechanical engineering but does have its own special subjects.

Any particular reason you want to do that specialisation?

it just seems really interesting. and i can use commerce if job positions are scarce.

Yep. That’s what I want to do too. I just came back from work experience at Ventracor and found biomedical engineering quite interesting.

Does University of Sydney offer something like electrical (or mechanical etc)/biomedical engineering degree together with a commerce degree?

no they ahve biomedical engineering/commerce.

I know it''s possible to do a B Engineering/B Medical Science but does anyone know if you can do a B Biomedical Engineering/B Medical Science?
