Bonus ATAR scheme (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know the threshold for the "elite performer" category in the UTS/UNSW/USYD bonus ATAR scheme? It's not really specified on the site.

Does performing in the Opera House count?

This is UNSWs table for bonus points for performers and athletes.
As you can see there is a music section which details various options for performance.
So if your a member of a national youth choir your probably good, but if you just performed at the opera house with your school probably not. (I performed there three times in primary school alone, so it's probably not a big enough achievement unless you were a part of one of the groups listed in the schedule)

As a general rule, these sort of categories will apply to UTS and USYD as well, though they may have an extra category or two.

Guys what about for sports I competed in the Sydney south west regional cross country and represented my school. Does this this count for the 1 point for "regional representative (school)"

it is, ONLY if you got a credit (B+ or B) in grade 8 AMEB (not leisure courses) for one point, or for 2 extra bonus points a distinction (A or A+) in grade 8 AMEB, again no leisure courses

Say you were in your regional school sporting teams in Year 11 and all your other junior years but not year 12, will that still apply?

Or do you have to participate in year 12?

From my understanding you have to make to to CHS(state) for bonus ATAR points in UNSW/USYD
