I'm not racist. Asians and Whites are certainly pretty much equal. But there is evidence that aboriginals are significantly less intelligent. It would certainly explain a lot.
I'm not saying aboriginals should be treated any differently. They are still people. But there is nothing wrong with acknowledging that on average, they may be inferior in some respects.
I'd say you just contradicted yourself there a whole lot.
It's like me saying "I'm not trying to be offensive,
but an incredibley stupid post. Only an amazingly ignorant troglodyte could hace posted it"
Have you asked yourself why there might be evidence that suggests that. Firstly, remote regional aust. doesnt get the quality of education that we get. 2ndly there is still also racism against them hindering selfesteem and attitude towards them (thanks for pointing it out).
3rdly matters at home play a huge part in this. Even though this is true for everyone, it seems that the racism and previous aust policies are still having an impact on generation after generation, the remnants influencing what type of childhood is experienced.
As you said, they are people, we are people, everyone is people. Stuff like this needs to be taken in on a case by case basis
