LOL... a USB drive? But some firms hand them out to all staff anyway (e.g. us)...

Meh. Whilst it's important that you guys get your offer in a nice way, I should hope you guys aren't reliant on the freebies which were bundled with the contract as a key deciding factor.

true,
the freebies can be very misleading. the freebies might be very cool but it does not mean the firm suits you.....

P.S: PwC bag is very nice....blue is my colour and the orange is the firm's...and they look pretty nice with each other... :)

Re: Cadetships 2007

for those who have received their KPMG contract, whats with the 10 days of study leave? on the website it says 25 days of study leave!! and its only $55o per year for textbook allowance, not per semester!!!

also ours doesn't say that they'll match it to the other big4, so will they?

Re: Cadetships 2007

lol I think you guys need to read the contract again.

It's an additional 10 days paid study leave on top of the 7.5 hours of paid study leave PER WEEK. 7.5 hours per week equates to ONE DAY OFF PER WEEK. I'm sure that's more than the usual 4 hours of paid study leave per week offered at the other firms. If you add up the hours it should equate to about 35 days study leave per year (as the HR people told us).

Gosh, no need to freak out lol

Also...just as a side...I don't really think we should be discussing the details of our contract in an open forum...
