can i get misadventure for period pain... (1 Viewer)

For the last few months i have been getting unbelievably bad period pain...
i haven't been to the doctor yet, just because i haven't got round to it and i think it may be from stress so i want to wait to see if it stays as bad after the exams.

My period is due on Monday when i have my maths exam...

it is ridiculously bad... i throw up alot and it hurts so bad. its like contractions.

i dont know how i am gonna do the exam.

usually i take the day off and lay in bed curled up moaning.

but it seems like such a pansy excuse.

its agony though

im not gonna be able to do the exam well...

Sounds serious you should check that up quickly. u have to see your examiner/supervisor and tell them about it im pretty sure you can apply for misadvtn

Do the exam in the bathroom? lol

I know if you're not feeling well on the day you go sit the exam and you tell the supervisors you're not feeling well so they keep an eye on you and check you're ok and stuff

Are you able to go see any doctor tomorrow? I think you should be able to get a misadventure if you can get a certificate.
If not, ring the school. Do the exam anyway (loaded on nurofen) then afterwards get a doctor's certificate.

Spoke to my mentor about this at the begining of the year.

Its a valid ground for misadventure as long as you get it all sorted out legit through the supervisors and with a dr cert and all the related jazz

period pain is such an overused excuse... i bet tons of people just pretend they have it to get extra marks. you cant really prove that you are in pain. and they cant really demand to check if you have it- lol...

when you say there 'due' on monday, thats just like a guesstimation right?
They don't come at exact regular intervals ?

Even before I was on the pill I knew I was going to get mine every 13th of the month and they were going to end every 18th.

He/She will establish that you're on your menstrual cycle and probably discuss the pain and how bad it is, etc, prescribe you something and probably have you come back to look at the possibility of having something more serious like endometritis or whatever it is, or ovarian cysts.
Both of which are unlikely, so dont stress
